Are you a choreographer or dancer aged 18-25? Looking for the next step in your career?

This summer James Wilton Dance (James Wilton and Sarah Jane Taylor) are holding a mentoring programme to help young dance artists grow and evolve. We want to pass on everything we’ve learned in the 15 years we’ve been creating and touring work.

By participating you’ll receive:

Daily floorwork and partner work class

1 to 1 mentoring

Career advice

Every day the selected choreographers will work with the dancers in exploring creative challenges set by us. Wilton will mentor the choreographers and Taylor the dancers throughout this process.

Participating choreographers will get the opportunity to meet and work with new dancers.

Participating dancers will get the chance to dance and build relationships with the next generation of choreographic talent.

How much is it?

It’s FREE. We’re selecting 6 choreographers and 6 dancers, each will receive a £100 travel/accommodation bursary.

Send us a 3 minute video of your choreography and your CV.

Dancers:

Send us your CV and a showreel.

EVERY applicant will receive written feedback from James Wilton.
